Gumpoldskirchen

The old traditional wine-growing village is situated in the wine-growing area of Thermenregion only 20 km from the federal capital of Vienna and is climatically very well favoured thanks to its sheltered location at the foot of the Anninger. The people of Gumpoldskirchen are proud of their regional specialities, especially wine. On the sunny side of the natural paradise of Anninger, the grapevines get plenty of sunny days. Rotgipfler and Zierfandler are exclusively found in this area. The hospitable winemakers live and celebrate in harmony with the seasons. It is a unique place with cosy wine-related events, exciting wine tours and a unique, mature wine culture.
