Doll and toy museum of Baden
Description
The Doll and Toy Museum Baden houses the collection of Helga Weidinger, a native of Baden, which has been built up over more than 30 years.
The numerous exhibits are from a period of three centuries. The oldest piece is a "Guckkasten" (peep box) from 1760.
Among other things, numerous doll's houses and merchant's shops document life in those days as miniature mirror images.
The abundance of artefacts tempts visitors to recall their own childhood, when life still seemed carefree and untroubled.
